In the installation Yucca Invest Trading Plant, the electrical impulses generated by a yucca palm is translated into the stock market’s codes for buying and selling.

A computer software retrieves the data from the plant via electrodes and transmitters and links them to an online source for stock trading. The plant is hence trained in the market economy and depending on its success of investment, it is rewarded according to its own vital values: water and light.
